Dawn Hodge

Dawn Dee Hodge is an Arizona native, Coolidge resident, and 1992 Coolidge High School graduate. Upon graduating from high school, she attended Indiana University in Bloomington, IN, and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education with a minor in Mathematics. Mrs. Hodge also obtained a Master’s in Educational Administration and Supervision from Arizona State University. She began her career in Coolidge by teaching special education mathematics at McCray Junior High. Mrs. Hodge then transferred to the mathematics department with the opening of Hohokam Middle School, and then finally transferred to Coolidge High School in 2004 where she taught Geometry, Algebra 2, and Pre-Calculus.

In 2008, Mrs. Hodge began teaching mathematics for the Casa Grande Union High School District for both Casa Grande Union High School and then Vista Grande High School teaching all levels of mathematics. In 2011, she moved into an administrative position at Casa Grande Union High School where she served as an Assistant Principal for two years. In June of 2013, Mrs. Hodge accepted the position as principal of Coolidge High School. In August of 2014, she also became the principal of Coolidge Junior High School when the district made the decision to consolidate the two campuses. It is her mission to help give the students of the Coolidge community a high quality education where they are prepared to be successful in any avenue they choose after high school.
